We are the exclusive operators of the AACI Currency Exchange Program.
Our AACI partnership offers unrivaled levels of security when transferring your money.
IsraTransfer operates the AACI Currency Exchange Program, adding an extra layer of security on all funds transferred.
AACI (Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel) is non-profit organization established in 1953 to help North American immigrants acclimate to Israeli society and to build strong ties between North American Jewish communities and Israel.
AACI provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of its membership of 30,000 individuals, including new immigrants and English-speaking long-time residents:
When transferring money through a regular money changer, your funds are deposited directly into their account. Only then do they send you the money owed. With the AACI Currency Exchange Program, no funds enter or leave this special account until the AACI has received proof that the paperwork exactly matches your request. Our clients’ funds never enter our account automatically and are not held overnight.
The program is available to both AACI members and non AACI members.
For 65 years, the Association for Americans and Canadians in Israel (AACI) has been committed to easing the aliyah process by helping North American immigrants integrate into Israeli society. Now it’s easier and safer for olim from all over the world to transfer non-shekel funds to Israel. David London
Here’s how we protect your funds – step by step:
Client sends funds from their bank account*
Funds arrive in the holding account of the Bank Mizrahi Head Office
Bank Mizrahi notifies IsraTransfer that funds have arrived
IsraTransfer calls client to request permission to convert funds
IsraTransfer prepares and forwards transfer paperwork to the AACI
AACI ensures that the paperwork is correct, signs off, and forwards it to Bank Mizrahi
Bank Mizrahi ensures that paperwork is correct, approves and wires NIS to client
Client receives funds the next business day
Your security is our priority!
Bank Mizrahi deposits client’s original funds into IsraTransfer’s bank account at the end of the day or on the next business day. IsraTransfer receives its fee from the transfer of funds only after the funds are received by the client.
Note: If the client does not give IsraTransfer permission to trade for any reason, and/or Bank Mizrahi does not receive AACI authorization to trade the client’s funds within seven business days, the funds are returned to the client.
